We are delighted to announce that Broxburn Bottlers Ltd once more has decided to choose Intercaps Filling Systems as a supplier of key machinery for their bottling plant

We are delighted to announce that Broxburn Bottlers Ltd ( he leading independent Contract bottlers in the Scotch Whisky Industry) once more has decided to choose Intercaps Filling Systems Ltd as a supplier of key machinery for their bottling plant. 

Their technical team, lead by David Harris the company CEO, after careful evaluation of various alternative options, has chosen to source from Intercaps Filling Systems Ltd a new complex labelling machine for their
No. 4 bottling line.

Responding to the detailed technical brief received with the open tender document, ICFS ltd had proposed a highly customized MIXI model produced in Canelli Italy by Intercaps Filling Systems srl our manufacturing sister Company.

 The tender brief required the supply of a highly flexible and high productivity unit capable of meeting the most varied requirements of sizes bottles and labels, typical of a successful contract bottler.

The Mixi labeller was chosen for its specifications, as it is modular, 

(that is every single labelling station is mounted on wheels and can be removed from the labeller and substituted with a different one if required) accommodates 16 heads , 6 labelling stations of which 3 cold glue and 3 self-adhesive, has a position of the application of ink jet coding on the labels, and has an electronic orientation came to orient the bottles.

The bottles can be oriented in a variety of means that is with bottom and side orientation and with crest orientation in future if required. The Mixi is equipped with an innovative fail safe anti jamming devise for the bottom orientation plates.

A quick change over modular system of the plates centring and orientation has been developed specifically to meet Broxburn Bottlers requirements.

The new MIXI labeller is planned to come into service on line 4 with the new year.

                                Intercaps Filling Systems Ltd is delighted to announce that we have been appointed as European agents for Steelhead Inc.- the leading American producer of filling equipment for 19 litre / 5 US Gallon bottling system used in water fountains. IC Filling Systems will be offering both sales & after sales service for the United Kingdom and Europe, through its offices in Scotland and Italy via their commercial partners in the various countries involved.

  Steelhead's President Mr Alan Pyle sees this move as a consolidation of their dominant presence in Europe in this specialist field. The Steelhead fillers for 19ltr/5 gallon bottles consist of two different systems.
